H2 Series Citric Acid Cleaning System

Citric Acid cleaning cartridge set (includes the citric acid cleaning filter and one blank filter) for removing hardwater scale in the H2 Series. You do not need to use them if you are: a) in a soft water area (less than 50ppm hardness) or if you already use EOS, UltraSpartan, or the RO scale protection. It is difficult for us to suggest cleaning intervals without knowing the exact level of your hardness. Generally, if you have hard water and are NOT using any of the scale protection products (you should be!), please use the Citric Acid cleaning anytime you notice white buildup on the tip of the alkaline spout.
